MNF: Holy Cross vs. Ansonia
31-0 Chargers. Dobbs had 173 yards on the ground and no touchdowns.
Holy Cross was 1 for 14 for 0 yards passing and three interceptions (one pick-six).
I thought the HC running backs would have a field day. But Ansonia's defense wasn't having it tonight. It's the best I've seen them play so far this season.
Didn't Holy Cross put up 62 on St. Paul last week? Hopefully someone here, who went to the game, can give us some kind of idea on how that happened. I wasn't there.
The Ansonia youngsters did work tonight. Dobbs did his thing. He had one TD called back due to holding by the o-line.
HC looked awful tonight, mainly on offense. It's safe to say HC had less than 150yds total offense (Kyle says he had them for 130 total yds). The deepest HC would get into Ansonia territory was at the Charger 15-yard line. Defense was huge.
